Q1.Do you have a return policy?
A1. Yes we have a 30 day return policy. If you decide that the item you purchased is not what you really wanted just call us at 1-608-0194 or email us for a return authorization. You are responsible for all return shipping and handling charges. It is strongly suggested that you insure your return against loss or damage . We will not be held responsible should loss or damage occur in returning your purchase to us. Should this occur, you would have to contact your shipper and file a complaint with them. Please note that your return must be in new condition and must be returned in the original shipping containers with all manuals inside the box. The boxes should not have any writing on them or be marred in any way.
Also a credit will not be given for the original shipping and handling charges on your order. A credit will be given for the total order price minus Shipping and Handling.
Q2. Do I have to be a member of PayPal to pay for my order?
A2. No you do not need a PayPal ID in order to shop on our website.
Q3 How do I use the gift registry?
A3. If you are a bride-to-be, or you have a birthday, anniversary, housewarming, or a shower coming up, and you would like to receive what you want as a gift, then just shop our site and each time you see something you want just save that item to your wish list. In order for this feature to work you will have to register your email address.
When you give people your email address they just click on gift registry and enter your email address. They will be able to see what you would like to receive and they will also see what has already been purchased.
Q4. Do you accept credit cards?
A4. Yes we accept credit cards. When you click on PayPal you will be given the choice of paying with your Visa or Mastercard. You do not have to be registered at PayPal in order to pay for your purchase.
Q5 How long does it take to receive my order?
A5 Orders are shipped out within 1 or 2 days of ordering and usually arrive at their destination within 7 to 10 days. Orders are shipped out Monday to Friday. We do not ship on Saturday, Sundays or holidays.
Q6 Can I pay for my order by check?
A6 Yes, we accept checks. However your order will not ship until your check has cleared our account. This usually takes 2 or 3 days.
Q7 My order was damaged in shipping. What should I do?
A7 If you receive your order and an item is damaged or missing please call us at 631-608-0194 or email us at customerservice@cottagegifthouse.com within 3 days of receipt or your order. Failure to contact us within this time frame might jeopardise your receiving a credit or replacement. If you do not receive your order after 10 days please notify us immediately so that we may initiate a trace.
